One of our top success stories is Amedisys Home Health in Dyersburg, Tennessee, which started with a census of 42 patients and within six month grew to over 220 patients. In every office we have been in, we have seen an increase in census of over 50%.  It should be noted that the results generated by these partnerships where depended upon the existence of a cohesive relationship between SAFE and Amedisys and the ability to work together as one.

Curb Attrition:

S.A.F.E. is a company that has prided itself since its inception in its ability to adapt its products and services to fit the needs of all its clients. For our home health agencies we have adapted the way we handle their patients’ emergency calls. In order to curb attrition, we make sure the home health agency is contacted first, except in the case of high risk emergency. By eliminating unnecessary 911 calls the frequency in which patients are hospitalized is drastically reduced. This enables the home health agency to care for the patient more affectively and over a longer period of time. This has been an invaluable tool in curbing attrition and keeping census high for our home health agency providers.

Generate a Referral Source

Safe has been very instrumental in opening many doors that have been closed to many home health agencies that we have partnered with by offering the Safe system.

Discharge Planners/Case Managers, Cancer Clinics, Dialysis Companies, Doctor’s Offices

The institutions listed above, once closed to the home health agencies, now become a great source of referrals. For example, in many cases doctors have discharged patients early, as long they know they will have access to help 24/7. Also, when patients are discharged from a home health agency, they are given a chance to keep the SAFE system at a discounted rate. This gives the health agency a chance to be notified if an episode occurs where the patient could be assisted with their services.  Safe would be more than open to discuss revenue sharing programs with your company for patients that keep the SAFE system.
